2. Eligibility

By using this website or placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old or have permission from a legal guardian.
  • You are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
  • The information you provide is accurate, complete, and current.
  • You are purchasing products for lawful purposes.

You are responsible for ensuring that your billing, contact, and delivery information is correct.

3. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product titles, descriptions, dimensions, materials, prices, and images are accurate.

However, minor typographical, photographic, technical, or administrative errors may occasionally occur. We reserve the right to correct such errors and update product information when reasonably necessary.

The availability of a product on the website does not guarantee that the product will remain available until an order has been accepted.

4. Product Images, Colors, and Materials

Product photographs, digital previews, lifestyle images, and room mockups are provided as visual and interior styling references.

A backlit digital display and a physical printed surface reproduce light and color differently. Minor variations in the following characteristics may occur:

  • Color temperature and tonal balance
  • Brightness and contrast
  • Saturation
  • Texture and surface character
  • Sharpness and fine detail
  • Reflections and perceived depth
  • Cropping and composition

These differences may result from:

  • Screen calibration and brightness settings
  • Device and browser color profiles
  • Natural or artificial room lighting
  • Surrounding wall and furniture colors
  • The selected print material
  • Production equipment and material batches
  • Normal professional print-production tolerances

Canvas, acrylic, metal, and museum matte paper naturally present color, light, texture, and contrast differently.

Minor and commercially reasonable variations do not, by themselves, mean that a product is defective or incorrectly produced.

This provision does not apply where an artwork is damaged, visibly misprinted, contains an abnormal production-related color cast, or is materially different from the product description.

5. Room Mockups and Product Scale

Room mockups and lifestyle scenes are illustrative.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • Furniture, frames, lighting, and decorative objects are not included.
  • The apparent size of an artwork in a room mockup is approximate.
  • Wall dimensions and surrounding objects may affect perceived scale.
  • Customers should rely on the dimensions stated on the product page.

Where an artwork is available in multiple sizes or aspect ratios, minor cropping or composition adjustments may be required to fit the selected format while preserving the principal subject and character of the artwork.

6. Orders and Contract Formation

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected product.

An automated order acknowledgment confirms that we have received your order. It does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted for production.

An order is accepted when we confirm that it has entered processing or production.

Before acceptance, we may decline or cancel an order for reasons including:

  • Payment authorization failure
  • Suspected fraud or unauthorized activity
  • Product or material unavailability
  • An obvious pricing or product-information error
  • Delivery restrictions
  • Incomplete or inaccurate customer information

If payment has already been collected for an order that we cancel, the amount collected will be returned through the original payment method.

7. Made-to-Order Production

Our artwork is generally produced after an order has been placed.

Production may begin shortly after payment is confirmed. For this reason, requests to change the artwork, material, dimensions, quantity, or delivery information must be submitted as soon as possible.

We cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or canceled after production has begun.

Our made-to-order production process does not limit any cancellation, withdrawal, refund, replacement, or other rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.

8. Prices, Taxes, and Payments

Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the website or during checkout.

The order total presented during checkout may include:

  • Product price
  • Shipping charges
  • Applicable taxes
  • Discounts or promotional adjustments

Any import duties, customs charges, local taxes, or handling fees not collected during checkout may be payable by the recipient where applicable.

Customers are responsible for charges imposed by their bank, card provider, or payment service, including foreign-exchange or international transaction fees.

Payment must be successfully authorized before an order can enter production.

We may correct obvious pricing errors before accepting an order. If an affected order is canceled after payment has been collected, the collected amount will be refunded.

9. Shipping and Delivery

Delivery dates and transit times shown on the website are estimates rather than guarantees.

Delivery may be affected by circumstances including:

  • Carrier delays
  • Customs procedures
  • Severe weather
  • Public holidays
  • Peak seasonal demand
  • Local delivery restrictions
  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses
  • Events outside our reasonable control

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

We remain responsible for delivery to the extent required by applicable law. Nothing in this section removes any mandatory rights relating to lost, damaged, delayed, or undelivered goods.

Additional information is available in our Shipping Policy.

10. Returns, Replacements, and Refunds

Returns, replacements, and refunds are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy and applicable consumer law.

We do not generally offer complimentary returns, exchanges, or replacements solely because of:

  • A change of mind, where no statutory withdrawal right applies
  • An incorrect size or material selected by the customer
  • The artwork not matching existing furniture or room decor
  • A personal preference for a lighter, darker, warmer, cooler, or more saturated appearance
  • Minor variations arising from screens, lighting, materials, or normal print production

This does not affect claims involving products that are:

  • Damaged
  • Defective
  • Incorrectly supplied
  • Visibly misprinted
  • Materially different from their description
  • Outside reasonable professional production tolerances

Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory right to cancel, return, repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund under applicable law.

11. Incorrect Addresses and Returned Packages

Customers must review their delivery information before submitting an order.

If a package is returned because of:

  • An incorrect or incomplete address
  • Failure to collect the package
  • Repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts
  • Refused delivery
  • Failure to respond to the carrier

additional production or shipping charges may apply before the order can be resent.

Any charges will be applied only to the extent permitted by applicable law and based on the circumstances of the return.

12. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all website content is owned by or licensed to The House of Curatora, including:

  • Artwork
  • Product designs
  • Product images
  • Videos and mockups
  • Text and descriptions
  • Graphics and logos
  • Website layout and design

Purchasing a physical artwork transfers ownership of that physical copy only. It does not transfer copyright, reproduction rights, commercial-use rights, or intellectual-property ownership.

Artwork and website content may not be copied, reproduced, resold as digital files, modified for commercial use, distributed, scraped, or used to create competing products without prior written permission.

13. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the website
  • Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
  • Introduce malicious code, viruses, or harmful technology
  • Circumvent security, payment, or access controls
  • Scrape, extract, or reproduce website data without permission
  • Copy or commercially exploit our artwork or content
  • Submit false, misleading, or unauthorized payment information
  • Use automated systems in a manner that unreasonably burdens the website

We may restrict access or cancel an order where reasonably necessary to prevent unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity.

14. Third-Party Services

Our website and order-fulfillment process may involve third-party providers, including:

  • Payment processors
  • Print-production partners
  • Shipping carriers
  • Hosting providers
  • Analytics services
  • Advertising and marketing platforms

These providers may process information or perform services according to their own terms and privacy practices.

Our use of third-party providers does not remove any responsibility that The House of Curatora is legally required to retain toward its customers.

Personal-information practices are described separately in our Privacy Policy.

15. Website Availability

We aim to keep the website secure and available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

We may temporarily suspend, update, maintain, or modify parts of the website where reasonably necessary.

Temporary website unavailability does not affect orders that have already been accepted, except where performance is prevented by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

16. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot legally be excluded
  • Defective or incorrectly described goods
  • Violation of mandatory consumer rights
  • Any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited

Subject to the above, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable at the time the contract was formed or that were caused solely by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Our products are primarily intended for personal and household use. Where a consumer purchases a product for business or commercial purposes, we are not responsible for loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunity, or business interruption to the extent permitted by law.

17. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

We will not be responsible for a delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, which may include:

  • Natural disasters
  • Severe weather
  • War or civil unrest
  • Government action
  • Carrier disruption
  • Customs delays
  • Strikes
  • Widespread technical outages
  • Disruption to production facilities
  • Public-health emergencies

Where such an event occurs, we will take reasonable steps to reduce its impact and communicate material delays where practicable.

This section does not remove any mandatory right to cancel or obtain a remedy where performance becomes impossible or is excessively delayed.

18. Governing Law and Consumer Protection

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.

However, this choice of law does not deprive a consumer of any mandatory protection available under the laws of the country in which the consumer normally resides, where those protections apply to the transaction.

Any dispute may be brought before a competent court available under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms requires a consumer to give up a right to bring proceedings in their local courts where that right cannot legally be excluded.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

The affected provision will be interpreted or adjusted only to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

20. No Waiver

If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, this does not mean that we have waived the right to enforce it later.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect legal, operational, technical, or service-related changes.

Updated Terms become effective when published on this page.

Unless otherwise required by law, the Terms applying to a purchase will be the version presented or made available when the order was placed. Updates will not retroactively reduce the rights associated with an earlier order.
